J&ME is an acoustic duo based in the vibrant Tri-Valley, featuring the powerhouse vocals of Jeanine and the masterful guitar arrangements of Mark Elster. We specialize in delivering soulful and heartfelt interpretations of songs you love, creating an intimate and engaging atmosphere perfect for wine tasting rooms, restaurants, art galleries, and private events.
We believe in the power of live music to connect and inspire. That's why we take immense pride in performing our entire extensive repertoire from memory, ensuring a seamless, authentic, and fully engaged experience for every audience, free from the distraction of charts or devices.
As active members of the local music community, Mark is also the creator and manager of the Tri-Valley Music Scene Facebook group, a thriving hub with 2.2K local music lovers and musicians. This deep connection allows us to not only entertain but also help draw an engaged local audience to the venues we play.
Our mission is to infuse every performance with "love-beauty" and provide an "out-of-body experience" that resonates long after the last note.

Vocalist Jeanine can really belt it out with emotion. Just as singers like Frank Sinatra and Celine Dion, Jeanine has the ability to make songs her own.
